I was reminded why I love my hometown today as I was reading the weekly paper from Beaver. (I have a subscription or I would provide you a link)
This is an excerpt from the minutes of the city council meeting.
"Mayor Ford proclaimed that
Halloween will be observed on
Nov. 1, 2008 because of the
Friday night football game. All
Chamber events and church
events will be held on Saturday."
I love it! Everything revolves around HS sports and the kids of the community!

The SAME THING happened this year is GORE because of the HS football game!!! LOL!!!
